Oliver Townend holds on to number one spot

British rider Oliver Townend holds on to his number one ranking on the overall FEI World Ranking.

This while Alexander Bragg (GBR) who recently rode the Dutch bred Zagreb KWPN (Perion – Nagano) into a 4th place at CCI5*-L Pau knocks down Tim Lips (NED) from the top ten.

Even though being pushed out from the top 10 on the FEI World Ranking Lips still holds a firm grip on the number one spot on the unofficial Benelux-ranking.

Moving upwards on the total world ranking is Merel Blom (NED) who finished 3d riding Corminta vom Gwick Holst. (Cormin – Contendro I) at the World Championships for 6 year olds at Lion d’Angers last month. Blom also rode into the top 10 in the 7 year old class.

Lara de Liedekerke-Meier (BEL) is not only hunting fellow country woman Karin Donckers for the number one spot of Belgium. Donckers got injured in a non riding related accident late August.

Liedekerke-Meier also hunts for a spot on the 100 on the FEI World Ranking and heads into November ranked as number 114 in the world.

Still climbing with honours on the total world ranking is Jordy Wilken (NED) who is now found on spot number 206.

The climb of the month is made by Elaine Pen (NED) who goes from rank 509 to 302 on the world ranking and makes her debut on the Benelux top 10.

Pen gained some highly valuable ranking points for riding Divali KWPN (Cardento x Nimmerdor) in to an 8th place at the CCI4*-L at Strzegom last month.
